“Les Petits Pots de Ogooué”, the jam brand of Jessica Allogo

Jessica Allogo is today one of the figures of the “made in Gabon”, and a fervent defendant of the Gabonese soil. She created “Les petits pots de l’Ogooué”, a brand of organic jam.

Fell in the jamb a little by chance!

After a brilliant career in an oil company in Gabon, she decides to tackle everything to be self-employed. She launched herself in the agri-food sector, creating her brand of jam: “Les Petits Pots de l’Ogooué”.

“Les petits pots de l’Ogooué”

“Les petits pots de l’Ogooué” is a collection of refined jams made with local fruits, for exceptional flavors that tell a generous and authentic Africa.

This brand is the history of the fruit producers of Gabon, the men and women who work with passion. It enhances Gabon, and the local communities that develop it. The brand relies on a network of independent producers and cooperatives.

Jessica wishes is to change the image of products Made in Africa, which are often perceived to be of poor quality. She wants to demonstrate that it is possible to produce products of excellence in Africa.

The brand now has a range of 10 flavors, around pineapple, mango, passion fruit, papaya, grapefruits, tropical oranges. It is well received by its customers who appreciate the quality of the products and attention to detail.

Export “Les petits pots de l’Ogooué” to the international markets

The company wants to promote its products internationally, in order to enhance the Gabonese production and increase its influence. For the time being, it is still facing many export problems: competitiveness, due to very high production costs, and export barriers (export customs duties and transit costs)
